The CEI Group, acting on the behalf of you or your employer, may collect personally identifiable Information from several sources. Among these sources are: files transmitted from your employer, information collected on your employer’s behalf from service providers, your own responses on this web site and over the telephone during conversations with our Customer Care Center.


If you contact The CEI Group to process a claim or request services, we may request certain personally identifiable Information from you. We may ask you to provide contact information such as your name, your employee ID, telephone number, address, etc., so that The CEI Group can perform the services we have contracted with our clients. We may need to contact the shop that is repairing your vehicle, a car rental company, independent appraisers, your employer, service providers, and you to fulfill our contractual obligation to your employer. We may also use the information collected for billing purposes. If we have difficulty processing a claim or servicing, we may use this information to contact you.


Within the Risk Applications (mvrComplete, DriverServices, DriverCare) the CEI Group may obtain certain personally identifiable Information from you. We may also use this information to request Motor Vehicle Record Checks for your Drivers Licenses. We will not run Motor Vehicle Record Checks without obtaining your written permission. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires this permission statement. CEI considers Motor Vehicle Record information to be extremely private. It is only made available to people in your organization that have a business need to see it. The CEI group controls the access to this information through comprehensive security control applications and processes.


CEI’s DriverCare Safety Store provides web-based training services. Use of this site may require CEI to obtain certain personally identifiable information from you. The CEI Group controls access to this information through a comprehensive security control application. CEI does not store credit card information in its databases in cases when this payment method is utilized.


We will place announcements concerning this website on the website itself and we may contact your employer if technical conditions suggest that The CEI Group may expect an interruption in service.


Based upon the personally identifiable Information you provide us, we will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, or to manage your claim and/or service. We may communicate with you by email and or telephone, in accordance with your employer’s directives. It is highly unlikely that CEI will request personally identifiable Information from you via email.


In order to provide certain contracted services with your employer, we may, on occasion, supplement the personal information you submitted to us with information from service provider sources including state motor vehicle authorities.


CEI does not permit the use or purchase of marketing data from third parties in order to add it to our existing user database. CEI does not tie any information to the personally identifiable Information that you or your employer provides to us. Additionally, CEI does not provide any personal information to ANY other organizations for any use whatsoever.


CEI shares aggregated demographic/reporting information about our user base with CEI customers only. This information does not identify individual users. We do not link aggregated user data with personally identifiable Information.


CEI policy does not permit the disclosure of personally identifiable Information to anyone other than you, your employer’s authorized and designated management. CEI DOES NOT Share personally identifiable Information with other business units or affiliated organizations.


The CEI Group contracts with service providers to provide vehicle repairs, vehicle rental, glass repair or replacement, and safety-related services. When required, we will share only as much information as necessary for that service provider to provide that service. We instruct our service providers that they should not use personally identifiable Information for any other purpose.


We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable Information as required by law, when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.


As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in internal log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, and date/time stamp. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, and to gather traffic information about our client user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically collected data to personally identifiable Information.


We may employ session cookies as an additional level of security if your internet browser settings permit cookies. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser.
